Another Holga experiment. The yellow at the bottom is from where the film got exposed through the sprocket holes when the back of the camera popped open. I kind of like it anyway.

One of my first Holga shots. An ice skater on City Park lake.

1. I love goats.

2. I love Holga images.

3. This photo is a beautiful example of both (by peevish_me).

I got a goat for my eighth birthday, but I didn’t get a Holga until this week. What  a lovely thing. Its body is simple and cheap and plastic. Its results are honest and raw. Not to mention the vignetting, light leaks, and double exposures. Shooting requires instinct. Processing requires patience. The prints are always a surprise. I just finished my first roll and I can’t wait to see what comes out … because photography isn’t really about perfection, is it?
